End of Life Vehicle Management

We operate a modern professional ELV processing service, with a commitment to high environmental standards in each stage of the process.
We are commited to the principles outlined in the "End of Life Vehicles Directive" with a strong focus on reducing the amount of waste from ELVs through the implementation of an effective recycling process, and to improve the contribution to reducing the risks of certain types of car crime through the Certificate of Destruction system.

Fluid Removal
Special purpose depollution bays are used to extract all the fluids from the vehicle, including coolants, break and clutch fluids, oils and lubricants and even windscreen washer fluid.
Batteries are also removed at this stage.
Vehicle Preperation
Next any useable parts are removed from the vehicle and other significant parts are removed with strict observance of relevant safety and environmental concerns, such items include airbags and air conditioning systems.
Engine Removal
Next the vehicle has it's engine removed. The process is carried out inside purpose built bays to contain debris and ensure safety. The machine holds the car down while the engine is extracted and seperately processed.
Vehicle Bailing
Once the vehicle has been subjected to a final inspection it is then transferred to the bailer where it is crushed.
Storage
Once bailed the vehicles are safely stored awaiting transportation for further off-site processing.
